"Double Cocktail" was born out of a well-known Dutch band called "Boulevard Avenue" David and Stefanie were the lead singers of this formation.
How come this name, "Double Cocktail" ? Easy to answer: Stefanie is Dutch and has blond hair, David is Portuguese and has dark hair. This exotic mixture brought the duo to this name: Double (two) Cocktail (a mixture of colour and nationalities).

In the Spring of 2003, the duo decided to move from Holland, after touring the Caribbean (Aruba), to the Madeira Island. After touring the mainland of Portugal, they are now stationed in the south  region: The Algarve.
In 2007, the duo released a CD named " Guitars & Heels". In February 2010 Double Cocktail was voted  "WINNER" of the Irish Wedding Abroad Supplier of the year Award in Dublin in recognition of their outstanding achievement as a Wedding Supplier voted by Irish brides and grooms. In December 2011 Double Cocktail is shorlisted with the last nominees again for two Wedding Awards 2012 The nominations are "Best Band" and "Best Wedding abroad Supplier of the Year." Double Cocktail performs all over the Algarve Costa del Sol Spain and the Lisbon Area.
